Beauty for Ears

Music beats make the beats of heart lively.

It is quality for ears and the language of human heart.

Heart doesn’t know the language of words and reason.

Words as their meanings are almost insignificant for it but the ways one sounds them certainly leave their imprints on our hearts.

But not every sound passes to be a quality for ears!

Is it just a repetitive pattern of sound in some order that sounds beautiful to ears?

Like words are incomplete, without any substance as mere an idea, sound also sounds incomplete or worse a noise if it goes bereft of aesthetic quality.

Incomplete longing for completeness!

Exactly like life which in all of us feels something missing, incomplete longing for completeness every moment!

In the process of a musical creation great-musicians are on a search to catch the rhythm of life; Life that is latent there some where among these surroundings of concrete things around us.

This beauty for ears catches that subtle fine latent line of life.

A certain subtle and orderly accent and decent flow pattern of sound sounds so complete and touch those soft feelings in us so effortlessly that the best juggling of words fail to do.

It induces that sense of completeness, fills that void of missing and brings us near to the infinite even if for few moments.

Only It can reach there where the river of real life in us is flowing and this is what makes it such a craved and revered thing in our lives.

This quality for ears only can express it.

It becomes sweet expression of love when the lover hearts beat, turns into explosive expression when the spirit of freedom plays it against any kind of repression and comes out as a divine expression when compassionate heart of saints sigh for humanity!

In its effect on us it is healing, appealing, soothing, inspiring, spiritual, seducing and many more…

It plays all the moods and colors of life be it ecstasy or be it depression.

Its beats express the pain of longing for freedom, pain of disappointment, pain of loneliness, pain of never-satisfied love and everlasting pain of monotony.

And like different moods it also offers itself in different or better say innumerable variations and forms.

Classical-music and country-music are the two conventional formats of old-music.

Classical one is sophisticated like blues which are composed of feeling, finesse, and fear whereas country music as simple as three chords and the truth.

It is one’s own experience, one’s own thoughts and wisdom.

Isn’t it amazing that a sound pattern born out of (composed by) one single individual (musician) becomes a composition that a large population of humanity so effortlessly identify itself with (that too with all craving for it) and finds it so appealing on such a large scale?!

It is so because first it is already there somewhere in our unconscious system and secondly it proves that as human there is a hell lot of common in all of us that is disguised and we never explore those similarities that connects us rather we keep seeking for difference to prove our superiority on others.

It appeals to different people in different forms depending upon the personality and mood swings one has.

Like high notes and jazz will be your choice if party is on your head.

Great songs have great-music.

Generally a great song is born with both its lyrics and music together i.e. lyricist is the musician or vice-versa and that too at the same point of time in the process of creative turbulence.

Read the lyrics of any great song and you just happen to distinguish the hidden-music intertwined so beautifully in the lyrics itself.

Famous songwriter Paul Williams’s confession - Very seldom do I write words and have somebody put the music to them. If I'm writing lyric-and-music at the same time, I usually finish the music rather quickly – add weightage to the idea that great music is born together with the song words.

There is another famous quote of Great American writer Truman Capote, as he said - To me, the greatest pleasure of writing is not what it's about, but the music the words make.

How beautiful! And how true!

If we really listen to the sound for quality that word we speak will turn the whole life on earth into a beautiful song.

Then we not listen to the word rather we go closer to the spirit behind the words i.e. more intimate to the real intention and more close to life.

It's an explosive expression of humanity. It's something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we're from, everyone loves music.

Beating of a loving heart doesn’t remain a biological or mechanical beating, it has a beautiful-music with it and how beautiful is it we know only when we fall in love!

Let’s use this great gift to spread love and joy that our world divided into religious and cultural boundaries need so badly.
